ARSENAL 1600 BLOWN FILM EXTRUSION LINE

Arsenal 1600 is a blown film extrusion line for production of shrinkable, LDPE, HDPE, LLDPE, mLLDPE, EVA, PP, and other films and composites. The modern line has been designed and first built in 2003, so it utilizes the lau6614547_test technological improvements, components and advantages of modern technical solutions. So far the line does not have obsolete concepts such as belt drives or short screws with smooth bore feeding zone. The line unique competitiveness is provided by the the following:

  1. 1.Use of helical grooved feeding zone dramatically improves stability of melt pressure, especially at high backpressures, that, in turn increases stability of lateral (machine direction) film gauge variation. The helical grooves also decreasee specific heat/electricity consumption, increases output, decreases melt residence time in extrusion press, that finally improves stability of extrusion process, increases quality of extrudate and decreases losses;
  2. Long 33 L/D spiral barrier screw, which increases effeciency of barrier screw homogenisation, is the must for modern extrusion presses;
  3. High pressure spiral mandrell extrusion die (head) provides transverse film gauge variation which is only achievable with alternative use of expensive electronic close loop gauge control systems;
  4. Integrated PLC-based control system with adaptive behavoir provides exact repetition of extrusion technologies, smoth start and transitional procedures with litlle wastes, documentation and training, decreases losses by elimination of human factor, easiness of modernisation;
  5. The line combines most reliable and proven components such as Mitsubishi vector drives, Festo pneumatics, Shneider electric hardware, Zambrello and Motovario reducers,

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Multipurpose sleeve film extrusion line for widths up to 1,500 mm.
  • Unique gauge variation parameters supreme to European analogues.
  • Oscillating die with an eight channel spiral mandrel; barrier type special screw design for outstanding melt homogenization and high output capacity (up to 220 kg/hour).
  • Dual lip air ring with a tapered stabilizer developed by leading Russian scientists and aerodynamics experts.
  • Production of extra thin films for flexible composite materials.
  • Gauge variation less than 5%.
  • Web width fluctuation of less than 2 mm on the web width of 1,500 mm

PRESS:

width=250Arsenal offers straight and helical grooved feed extruders. The grooved feed zones increase not only specific output, but also stability and pressure of the melt flow, thus allowing for smooth and even linear feeding, which results in lower MD (lateral) gauge variations of the end product. The grooved feeding also ensures high pressure of melt, which in turn allows application of high-pressure extrusion dies. Such dies are unbeatable in TD (transversal) gauge distribution of the melt.

Lau6614547_test developments in the design of helical grooved feed sections and application of temperature control increase stability and pressure even further while reducing specific energy consumption to the levels similar to smooth bore with static mixer installed in line.

Our extruders are computed and numerically simulated using Reodesigner, which helps us greatly improve the homogenization process.
